The Pros And Cons Of Minimum Wage Laws
In general, any law that only applies to a segment of a population is inherently a bad law. Minimum wage laws fall into this category because it only effects a segment in the socio-economic structure. Additionally it creates an artificial standard similar to trade tariffs. Economically this does little but creates economic waste.

Raising a minimum wage will effectively increase cost for that socio-economic level. Some ways we see it happening here in this article is that while these people are making more per hour, their business is open for fewer hours. So people are potentially losing working hours. Or people may have lost their jobs. That may be great for some who are working harder to cover for those who lost their jobs, but hey, they're

Not Obamacare, that completely sucks and mislead a lot of his supporters. He empowered insurance companies. We need to eliminate insurance companies. No, Obamacare was not a step in this direction. As you can see with what is happening now, it was a short term solution to make liberals look like they were helping. They weren't. Not the conservatives are making it worse. Granted I'm probably confusing the hell out of most of you because I'm not siding with either liberals or conservatives. This is what you call "Thinking for yourself" or being an individual and not part of the group think problem.

So universal healthcare would help this case because it helps with expenses. Add to this free education for those that put the effort and make the grade. Add to this massive tax reform. Get rid of ALL tax deductions except for ONE that applies equally to all. It would be fairly large, but no matter how much you make, you get the same. And that's it. No other tax deductions. But I would also say everyone is taxed at the same exact tax rate for all income. Eliminate sales and use taxes, these favor those who control more money. Only tax

    As the minimum wage increases, so does inflation. If an employer has to pay higher wages, then the price of the product or service being produced will have to cost more in order to pay the employee. In return the prices of all goods and services will rise, and the person earning higher wages, makes no gain. In some instances, a pay hike would not make a livable wage, but in fact could make it worse.     When you increase minimum wage, it limits entry-level jobs because it causes businesses to hire fewer workers therefore just leaving even more people without a job. So you can see how going from 7.25$ an hour to 15$ an hour can affect that number. Not only are many workers laid off, but the ones who keep their jobs are cut back a lot on their hours to where they were making less than before they raised minimum wage.
