The Pros And Cons Of Immigrants Entering The Mexico-Guatemala Border

There are more central American immigrants who are leaving their countries because of gang violence. The number of immigrants entering the U.S. illegally is rising almost reaching the numbers that caused an immigration crisis in 2014 (Burnett). It is harder for central Americans to get into the U.S. because they have to pass through two checkpoints, the Mexico-Guatemala border and the U.S.-Mexico Border. That is lot of women who get abused when they are alone, which makes it easier for others take to advantage of them.
Numerous children are claiming that Border Patrol agents are mistreating them by not feeding them and denying them proper medical care. Many children have called out the CBP by telling their stories.
