The Production of National Teachers in the UAE
1) Introduction (Importance of knowledge):
Prophet Muhammad once said "Conduct yourself in this world, as if you are here to stay forever; prepare for eternity as if you have to die tomorrow." (Words of wisdom by Prophet Mohammad, n.d). These words are addressed to individuals but if every individual worked by these words our countries will prosper. Some people live in the world as if they are going to stay forever and work to make their lives better as long as they are alive and others prepare for their judgment day and do not feel like they are living on Earth. Yet, there are some who are able to combine both approaches of the previous approaches of living in their daily life. Such people think of the world in a positive and a clever way. Prophet Muhammad made this ideology clear by the following words "Acquire knowledge, it enables its professor to distinguish right from wrong; it lights the way to heaven. It is our friend in the desert, our company in solitude and companion when friendless. It guides us to happiness, it sustains us in misery, it is an ornament amongst friends and an armor against enemies." (Words of wisdom by Prophet Mohammad, n.d). a) Main Argument (Lack of national teachers):

In order for countries to develop, knowledge should be present in the national individuals of a certain country. This knowledge must be practiced and transmitted from the practitioner who is the professor or the teacher to the people who are the students. The combined power of knowledge between the leaders in which in this case are the teachers and the followers in which in this case are the students, will be dedicated to their country of origin where they have their traditions and religion. The case in the UAE does not follow the previous concept because most of the professional teachers in the UAE are expats. b)The link between teachers and their country of origin:

A brief story of Albert Einstein can help in clarifying how teachers dedicate their success to their origins and not to their place of work. Albert Einstein enrolled in the Swiss Federal Polytechnic School in Zurich to practice being a teacher in the fields of physics and mathematics. In the year 1901, in which Dr.Einstein earned his Diploma, he acquired Swiss citizenship. Later on he earned his doctor's degree in 1905. 40 years later Albert Einstein became an American citizen and renounced his German citizenship due to political reasons and after achieving all his scientific achievements, and established the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (Nobel prize organization, 2013). Albert Einstein is a perfect example to prove that teachers offer their success to the country of origin. As a consequence, every country must have its own national teachers and professors due to their importance in the contribution of the national knowledge and scientific research that will help in developing the country. Yet, not all countries enjoy such a good fortune. c) Promise to the reader:

The paper is divided into four parts. In the first part, the paper is aiming to discuss the problem of lack of Emirati teachers in the country and it will give evidence to the presence of the problem. In the second part, the paper includes basic knowledge about UAE's successful economy compared to other countries. In the third part, the paper will introduces the causes of the problem, in addition to analyzing them. Fourth, the paper will contain some solutions and recommendations to the issue. The final part contains suggested implications of the problem. 2) Background information for the economic status of the UAE:

The UAE has a very well established economic system with an approximate nominal GDP of 365 Billion U.S$ in the year 2012 and an estimated population of 5.5 to 7 Million.
