Heumann gives a clear understanding to the reader about how marijuana is being considered taboo for no reason, but is actually a great use medicinally. It talks about how marijuana has many uses and how by being banned, it is just doing a disservice to many people. The author points out how “marijuana is medicine for anorexics getting way too thin” (Heumann). A major issue in society is anorexia and marijuana can help combat this. Marijuana is very effective in making people feel hungry. It has been used in many cases to help people who are taking another drug for something else like a cancer drug that suppresses their hunger. It has proven to be
