1. Personal assessment of my own skills
Firstly, the performance assessment is a branch of human resources management, so as a HR professional student, I have the natural advantage on the understanding of professional knowledge. Secondly, I am good at looking for information online, which can save the time in collecting the secondary data. However, I am not good at Writing in English, which will be a problem for me in the implement of this report.
2. Project title
According to the reality situation, my major is Human Resources management, so I chose the performance assessment as my investigation direction, and chose the Citibank as my research objective at last. Therefore, my project title is The effectiveness of performance assessment of Citibank.
3. Statement of the issue to be investigated
This report will target at the performance assessment system of Citibank and which difference with state-owned bank. The performance assessment system aims to the internal customers—employee. A good performance assessment system can make the employees feel fair satisfied and generally the performance assessment system will determine the salary, so a good performance assessment system can meet the need of employee effectively. In addition, the performance assessment system will motivate the employee to provide the better service to the external customer, so which also will meet the needs of external customer. 4.Aims and objectives of the project
The aims and objectives of this report is to investigate the performance assessment of Citibank, analyze how the company implement their performance assessment and evaluate it’s effective. Also, the report would make a comparison between Citibank and state-owned banks, aims to provide a reference and improvement suggestion to state-owned banks.
