The Nine Body Regions And Their Locations Are As Follows

1. The Nine body regions and their locations are as follows, starting at the 12 o’clock position of the body in the anatomical position, above the subcostal plane is the Epigastrium, running below the sternum to just above the belly button. Continuing clockwise becomes the Left Hypochondrium just below the nipple down the left side of the body to a line just above the bellybutton again. Below the subcostal plane, Left hypochondrium is the left lumbar region running down to just above the hip bone. Below the left lumbar region is the left iliac fossa for a short period down into pelvic area. Continuing clockwise is the hypogastric region below belly button, and on to the right iliac fossa. At about the 9 o’clock area of the body is the right lumbar region and up into the right hypochondrium. In the middle of the body and surrounding the bellybutton is the Umbilical region.
2. Organs in the right hypochondrium: Liver and part of the Gallbladder.
Organs in the Epigastric region: liver, gallbladder, spleen, pancreas, stomach, duodenum, proximal jejunum, transverse colon, upper parts of the kidneys, and adrenal glands.
Organs of left hypochondrium: Stomach, tip of Liver, Tail of Pancreas, Small intestine transverse colon, Descending colon, Left Kidney, and Spleen.
Organs of the right lumbar: Tip of right lobe of Kidney, Some of the gallbladder, some small intestine, Right Kidney, some of ascending colon.
Organs of the umbilical region, some of the stomach, small intestine, Transverse colon, duodenum.
Organs of the left lumbar: descending colon, jejunum.
Organs of the right iliac region: cecum, appendix,
Organs of the hypogastric: anus, anal canal, rectum, sigmoid colon, ileum, bladder, uterus, ovaries.
Organs of the left iliac: Descending colon.
3. The boundary of the epiploic foramen boundaries are, the anterior boundary is the portal triad, the posterior boundary is the IVC, right crus, and the diaphragm, superiorly is the caudate lobe of liver, and
