Mood disorder: this is a group of diagnosis in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM IV TR) which classifies mental health, this particular one is when a person’s mood is seen to be the underlying cause of mental health issues. Some mood disorders can be substance induced, (due to someone’s drug use) or alcohol induced, and other mood disorders could be just one episode or recurrent.…
I think that today you should go out and do something kind for a person , when you feel grouchy it will lift your spirit up and make you feel good inside, even if it is just holding a door open for someone or complimenting a person's outfit. Maybe they weren’t in a good mood but you just held open that door or complimented their outfit they now feel special and happy.…

Other times it felt as if I dodged a bullet because my day wouldn’t go out the way I thought it would, since I’m very pessimistic. It all depends on how my behavior a certain day is, or how I wake up feeling on the start of a new day. If I wake up feeling sick or upset, then my behavior will be based on those expectations and it would probably turn at bad without me even knowing my prediction became true. I just try to live each day carefully without trying to judge how it’ll be.…
As many as 19 million Americans million are affected by mood disorders ( The two main types of mood disorders are bipolar disorder and major depressive disorder which are described as disturbances in mood, behavior and emotion.“ Bipolar disorder is a complex disorder in which the core feature is pathological disturbance in mood ranging from extreme elation, or mania, to severe depression usually accompanied by disturbances in thinking and behavior, which may include psychotic symptoms, such as delusions and hallucinations” (Craddock, Jones 1999). Major depressive disorder or unipolar depression is characterized by a consistent low mood and lack of interest in things typically enjoyed .A second classification of major depressive disorder, is dysthymic disorder which is a chronic but less severe form of major depression (John W. My morning ritual starts with a run. Exercise has been shown to boost mood, and that's great when you can't shake away the bad. Exercise clears thoughts by focusing your energy to the task that's laid out in front of you. When you are focused on proper form, or the music playing in your ears, it erases from your brain the other stuff taking up residence in your mind.…
Everyone experiences crisis some time in their life, but how should they react to it? It’s simple, stay positive. Yes, sometimes it can be difficult to even think of anything positive when having a lousy day, but looking for the exellence in things is always the right answer. There will always be a way out of a crisis, so the best way to spend the time is to count one’s blessings and focus on the positive. Like Anne Frank and Sophie Scholl, their response to conflict affected many people in the process. People can best respond to conflict by staying positive, because the situation can only deteriorate by having a lousy attitude.…

I would do the opposite, and make the, already stressful situation worse by getting angry, or upset (emotional arousal). Only, recently, I noticed how much I work myself up over certain life situations that happen and how quickly, I would label the situation as negative, or bad, instead of seeing the brighter side of the situation. For example, my stressful situation my career/future, I shouldn't see it as a state of uncertainty of confusion, based on one factor, which is the difficult science courses, but, see it as a learning lesson and to try different studying techniques, and find the one that works best for me. Moreover, I need to practice the cognitive appraisal level roadblock more and whenever that doesn’t work try, the emotional arousal level roadblock, which I practice a lot lately, whenever i’m faced with a stressful…
It was a beautiful day. The sun cast it’s radiant rays upon a little small village in China. Little dust of ivory clouds navigated itself around the sky. On that day a naive girl of four years-old sat in her concise house of only one room., no bigger than a mini garage. An average size twin bed faced the wall, a bed that three people shared every night. A cheap old fashioned stove adjacent to the bed, and a cabinet where three utensils, three plates, and three pairs of clothes lay. I sat on the cold stone floor wearing my pink little summer dress while playing with my rusty train set. All days were the same for me. My parents both worked from when the sun rose to when the sun set, only coming home to make dinner. Life for me was quite lonely. I ran free through the village like a wild child, for no one cared. I became independent the day I could walk.…
