The Maze Runner
It takes place in a dystopian world, also called the Glade. The Glade is the size of several football fields, outlined by a vined large corridor. Outside the Glade, beyond the walls is a massive maze which is populated with monsters. These monsters are known as ¨Grievers.¨ These grievers are half slug, and half machine like creatures, which are controlled by the creators. These grievers come out at after dark within this maze. Its purpose in the maze after dark is to kill the Gladers/Runners as they are leaving the glade and giving many attempts to escape the maze. The Griever will sting a runner with its poisonous spikes.

The boys are stunned, worried, and perhaps a little excited to have someone who doesn't smell like day-old socks. However, unlike each of the boys, she shows up mumbling strange prophetic words and then lapses into a coma. To make matters worse, her arrival triggers everything in the Glade to change: the sun disappears, the deliveries of supplies stop coming, and the doors stay open at night which allows the Grievers to pick kids off one-by-one. In my opinion is very terrifying.

Then they do an arts 'n' crafts project and discover that the maze is in fact spelling out words. Thomas also discovers that the Cliff that they all thought was just a cliff turns out to be where the Grievers are coming from. If they can come and go through a weird black hole over the edge of a cliff, then maybe the boys can do it also.
The girl, Teresa, wakes up and tells Thomas that they knew each other before they were put in the Glade and like I said earlier, they can communicate

The Notebook is one of my favorite love movies of all time. The reason I love this movie so much is because that main characters Noah and Allie go through so many trials and finally end up together in the end. This movie I feel shows me how strong their love for each other really was and I now feel as if it is meant to be it will always find a way. Looking at the movie as a reference to get a better understanding of how lifespan development works, I realized that most of the trials that Noah and Allie went though were part of stages of development. The theory of stages of development was created by Erik Erikson, he believes that we go though certain stages in our life and if we do not get passed them properly we will end up with underdeveloped skills in our lives. The Notebook has many different stages that the main characters go though such as, stage eight, integrity vs. despair, stage five, identity vs. identity confusion, and stage six, intimacy vs. isolation.…
