Leonardo di Ser Piero da Vinci mostly known as Leonardo Da Vinci was an Italian renaissance polymath such as in: painter, sculptor, architect, musician, mathematician, engineer, inventor, anatomist, geologist, cartographer, botanist and writer. His genius, perhaps more than that of any other figure, epitomized renaissance humanist ideal.
Born on April the 15th 1452 in Vinci Italy. Young Leonardo was raised by his father Ser Piero and step mother. When Leonardo was 14 years old he began apprenticing with Andrea del Verrocchio one of Italy’s well known artist in the middle ages, whose workshop was one of the finest in Florence.
Six years of hard working and 20 years old Leonardo had at last been qualified as a master artist and finally established his own workshop. But in Leonardo’s six years of hard working he learned a wide breadth of technical skills, including metalworking, leather arts, carpentry, drawing and sculpting. He was concerned with the laws of science and nature, which greatly informed his work as a painter, Inventor and many more and the one thing that most people don’t know is that Leonardo da Vinci worked for himself. He took his time to make sure that his painting were well done and that he was satisfied with his work, wish had become a part of him. The reason why Leonardo is the greatest genius of all time is because he didn’t just stick to one substance but studded and learned pretty much everything he became interested in and that is what makes him the greatest genius of all time.
Leonardo always loved nature. One of the reasons was because of his childhood environment. Near the house he lived in as a child hade mountains, trees and rivers young Leonardo loved to be outside in the nature. It is believed that being outside in the nature encourage young Leonardo to have interest for painting. Later in the years Leonardo grow interest in the human body and studded anatomy and physic motion, he wrote his observation in notebooks concealing his inside from playing eyes by writing backwards. Leonardo was a very secret full man he did always wrote his notes backwards and his drawing ware never quite rite he always kept the important parts for him self, with the thought that humankind will never use his notes and drawings to build weapons for man destruction.
Leonardo’s kept his privet life a secret, he did have many friends but appears to have had no close relationships with women except for his friendship with Cecilia and Isabelle he did actually draw a picture of Isabelle. Now his sexual life, it is believed that Leonardo was homosexual and hade sexual interference with his assistant and pupil “Gian Giacomo Caprotti da Oreno” better known as Salai. Homosexual or not Leonardo wasn’t physically attracted to women but he was fascinated by them both as an artist and a scientist. Most man really believed that the male was the responsible uniquely for the procreation, but Leonardo realized that the mans role was quick and easy, when the womens role was complex and full of mystery. He was covens that women were the key to the proses of creation.
Leonardo was well known for his genius and mistrial way of thinking, creating and painting but beyond all he’s now mostly know for The Mona Lisa, The Last Supper paintings and The Vitruvian Man.
The Mona Lisa (Monna Lisa or La Gioconda in Italian) is da Vinci’s most well know painting and even arguably the worlds most famous painting. This painting came to this world as an beautiful, mistrial and quite odd painting it is particularly know for it’s secretive smile and is one of the world’s renowned, acclaimed and reproduced artwork. For da Vinci the “Mona Lisa” was forever a work in progress, as it was his attempt at perfection. By asking a lot of peoples in Sweden most of them thinks that the original Mona Lisa painting has a secret code or map because of the way that it was painted and look, as a very mistrial painting with a lots of hidden secrets. Now The Last Supper came to this world in a different angle, the most reproduced religious painting of all time and the one painting that latter was used by Dan brown in his novel the da Vinci code which on corrupted the Christianity religion in 2004. Dan Brown made people believe that Christ were with someone in his days a woman named Mary Magdalena which you can see siting on the right side of Christ in Leonardo’s last supper painting. It took Leonardo Vitruvian Man is a drawing created by Leonardo da Vinci it was completed in 1490 and was made with pen and ink with wash over metalpoint on paper. Leonardo’s famous drawing the Vitruvian proportions of man’s body first standing inscribed in a square and then with feet and arms outspread inscribed in a circle provides an excellent early example of the way in which his studies of proportion fuse artistic and scientific. Despise his reputation as painter as Leonardo aged his true legacy became his notebooks a life time of scientific and artistic exploration captured on thousand of bet of fragile paper like this one.
In 1517 the king of franc an great admirer and collector of da Vinci’s work invites Leonardo and his two assistants to his shelter!! the king is dilated to have such a brilliant mind under his roof. Leonardo died 1519 may 02 but before he died according to legends even tho he hade never been particularly religious Leonardo has a sudden changed of heart and wants to know everything he should have known about his religion and that he confessed his sins. It has been seed that Leonardo died in the arms of king Francis the first, true or not it’s clear that he was loved by the franc people.
Leonardo is a man that will never be forgotten he well always live through his painting and inventions and notebooks he will forever be the greatest genius of all time not just for knowing so many things but to also keeping most of it a secret and a mystery for humankind in so many years. Meany of Leonardos inventions have been built and tested and from those test you can clearly see that Leonardo were truly a man of his own time.
