The Little Mermaid Essay
The prince and the butterfly

Once upon a time there was a prince named Andrew. He was tall and handsome, with a very kind personality. Many women dreamed of marrying him. He lived in a kingdom with a magical enchanted forest with animals that could talk.
The kingdom cabinet and the king and queen forced Andrew’s engagement. The ministers wanted him married to a princess from a very large and powerful kingdom for political reasons; they wanted to prevent an invasion from other kingdoms.
He wasn’t in love with the princess, because she was greedy and selfish, and he did not want to marry her, but the princess’s parents and Andrew’s parents had already made the decision for them.
Andrew became very sad and lonely. He began to go frequently to the enchanted forest to calm down and to diminish his suffering. One day he fell down into a cave and a very beautiful pastel-colored butterfly helped him to find his way out. Once out of the cave, a lot of animals helped him to find his way home. He and the animals became friends.
A few days after Andrew went home, he was gazing through his window at the enchanted forest, the beautiful butterfly, named Isabella, with hues of fucsia, purple and blue, landed on the windowsill. Andrew began to tell her his dilemma. Isabella listened intently and visited Andrew every day for many days. One day, the butterfly realized that she had fallen in love with Andrew. She flew into the forest to talk with her animal friends. She cried and cried because she wanted to marry him but she couldn’t because she was just a butterfly. Another butterfly, named Luciana, told Isabella that there was a sorcerer who lived in the deep of the cave that might be able to help her. The sorcerer’s name was Sargon.
In order to reach Sargon’s deep cave entrance, Isabella had to cross the caves and avoid the bats that would eat her if she wasn’t careful. She would need to sprinkle the bats with a special powder to make them sleep while she
