The Library: Hope Was Here By Joan Bauer
THE LIBRARY
When I entered to the library the first thing that comes to my mind was “Here is so quiet”.
But I think that the library is still useful. Books have more information and a never lied and the information it’s 100% true. Also in libraries you concentrate better you can study so much better and the books are good.
When I want to choose a book, I read the index and see if the book has pictures or how it’s starts if it’s interesting or what it’s about.
My favorites themes of a book it’s about romance, love stories and those type of stories, I really love them!
I checked a book that it’s named Hope Was Here written by Joan Bauer.
I just choosed the book and I think that i would liked because it’s about a love story and I love stories

Considering the gift of computers Bill Gates bestowed upon libraries for students, I’m sure his intentions were for the students to excel and keep abreast of the ever changing world of technology, not to replace reading with surfing the web. I agree with Judith Levine when she stated, “It’s important for students to read books, magazines, newspapers, history, poetry, politics and listen to people who know what they’re talking about.” Reading books and other literature teaches students the past, present and future, not only for things happening in the world today but facts about things past.…

One of the big reasons why libraries are important is that not everything is available to you on the internet. It is an issue because the majority of books have copyrights laws which prevents information from being put out on the internet, or becoming digital. Most writers have their information in books, and with the copyrights laws it cannot be accessed via the internet. Even if the internet has some information that you may need, having a physical book with dated information can be a much better use for getting the most information that you need. Also they have a limited database that may require you to have a subscription to find a greater deal of the content online, rather than having it all for free at a physical library with more extensive information. Another reason why libraries are important is that it is a place where people can go to study.…

I most often study in the library because it is quiet and encourage me to study a long time. Studying in quiet area is the most important thing to keep me focuse. For example, last semester I was studying English in my home with my friends, then I got bad score. Seeing the people studying around me can motivate me also when I study in the library. For instance, when I work in my room and I am have trouble understanding a concept I give up quickly and I go to my bed. I enjoy when I spend my time in the library. The library is an organized collection of information resources and quiet area where the people study comfortably. The library is expected to be quieter than any other place. The library reserves the right to kick out anyone that is disruptive to other patrons. The library is modern and it has books, computer room, Printer and Scanner. It is undeniable that there are clear differences in the studying method between high schools and universities level. One of those is the increasing frequency of self-studying to keep up with the high speed of learning program and great amount of knowledge provided each lecture. This means that students must spend a lot of time and make use of available tools to support for their studying out of class. That is the reason why almost every university including Hanoi University (HANU) invests a big amount of money on establishing its own modern library.
