The Last Supper

The last supper was one of Jesus last meal before he had to go be crucified .On the day of the last supper of Jesus Christ his disciples Peter and John came up to him asking him where you would like to have your feast at. And he said go to the city and find a certain man that is carrying a jar of water he will meet you there. After doing what was asked of them by finding the man in the city and preparing the feast for the Passover. As Jesus was sitting at the table with his disciple at the feast he said one of you at this table will betray me, with saying that almost every one at the table had said no not me lord, But Judas, the one that is going to betray him says ‘’Surely not I, Rabbi?”, (Rabbi means a Jewish scholar or teacher, esp. one who studies or teaches Jewish law). With that Jesus had replied yes it is you that will betray me. As they were eating Jesus took the bread and broke giving thanks, saying “Take and eat; this is my body.” Then he got the cup in said drink this in the remembrances of me. Jesus saying “I will not drink again of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it anew in the kingdom of God” (The Bible). There were events that surrounded the Last Supper of Jesus Christ, like the Jewish leaders in Jerusalem have already decided that Jesus must die because of all the things we were doing. “John 11:47 so the chief priests and the Pharisees called the council together and said, “What are we doing? For this man is performing many miraculous signs. 48 If we allow him to go on in this way, everyone will believe in him, and the Romans will come and take away our sanctuary and our nation.” 49 Then one of them, Caiaphas, who was high priest that year, said, “You know nothing at all! 50 You do not realize that it is more to your advantage to have one man die for the people than for the whole nation to perish.” 51 (Now he did not say this on his own, but because he was high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus was going to die for the...
