The King Of Mazy May Analysis
Why do people undertake a mission? What drives people to undertake a mission? People undertake missions because they know that they have to do the right thing to help someone or to help themselves. A lot of people don't like doing anything dangerous unless they need to get to safety or to help family and friends. Most people think that people will take a mission because the adrenaline starts pumping and they just do it but that's not why most people undertake a mission.

When undertaking a mission, one will need courage and faith, like Farah Ahmedi. When Farah was 7 she stepped on a landmine in Afghanistan while walking to school because she was taking a shortcut and she lost a leg. After getting a prosthetic leg from Germany and losing her brothers and father, Farah and her mother realized that they shouldn't be in Afghanistan because it wasn't safe, they should be in Pakistan. Farah and her mother went to the border of Afghanistan and Pakistan, but with little luck, the guards at the border weren't letting anyone unless people could pay them. Farah and her mother had no bribe money for the guards. Along the way they met some nice people who found a smugglers path over a mountain and when they heard Farah's story they let Farah and her mother go with them to safety in Pakistan.

This saying, quoted by Mustapha Mond, instructs his citizens to disregard the painful lessons of history and to ignore the past in order to focus on future progress. Society disregards history because if people understood what came before, they might not less willing to put their trust in science and progress. History is "bunk," as Mond says, because it revolves around human frailties and emotions such as love, anger, vengeance, and temptation. Such things are no longer part of the human experience and, according to Mond, have no place in a society built around maximizing…

Child soldiers often have a hard time returning to a normal life after war. Ishmael Beah, however, showed that he can do it and so can others. He lost his entire family in Sierra Leone’s civil war and the government recruited him as a soldier in his early teens and went on to write his memoir about it, A Long Way Gone. As hard as it was for him to go through and relive these memories to write his story, people still question the memoir’s validity. Despite what many articles say, Beah’s story is true.…

Yet while our principles continue, unscarred and secure, the same is not true in Afghanistan. There, the peaceful teachings of Islam have been cast aside, and instead are used to promote violence. There, women have no rights to education. There, human trafficking and massacres against civilians have become common. There, leaders are self-appointed. We are fighting for their safety and protection as much as our own. The battle we share stems from a desire to fight those oppressing freedom, not civilians caught in the crossfire. Food, refuge, and medical aid will be available to our friends.…

What motivates a person to better himself, accomplish something, or to pursue and achieve a goal? I think the answer is passion. A strong and barely controllable emotion is the definition of passion. It is your desire and love of something so much that you will do anything you can to see it succeed. Another definition of passion is the suffering and death of Jesus. I think this single word is the reason why William Bradford chose to leave Holland in order to obtain religious freedom. He had such a passion and desire to remove himself from all control of the “church” that he was willing to do anything to obtain it.…

Many times it was to empty my head One time in my life when I was young, I remember thinking to myself that I needed to get out of the house. So without hesitation I went for a stroll, ending up at whitemud alone. I never told my mom so she was worried sick, and she called the police. Eventually they found me, beside the library doors weeping trying to find my way home. That’s when I first felt a surge of adventure. Even today I crave for adventure, trying to find new places to explore. I want to someday travel the world, experiencing new culture. Humpback whales travel great distances to eat food and breed. It’s necessary for them to travel. I feel the same way, because if I don’t, I feel that I haven’t lived today or I feel unaccomplished. Whales are fascinating creatures, they wouldn’t waver when they experienced adversity. I wouldn’t be hindered if I was hit with trials that come along my way. I would always stay positive and find ways to get around the…
