When most people consider the death penalty, they think “An eye for an eye a foot for a foot.” Then others think about, how the death penalty is cruel and doesn’t consist with modern society. (Taylor) Both sides have major points in their point of view. The legal system has many flaws, which causes innocent people to be put on death row. Furthermore come criminals put on death row have mental illnesses, that caused them to commit such hanus crimes. Then add on peoples morals on how humans shouldn’t have the right to take life. Now look at the other perspective, Two thirds of the people wrongly convicted and put on death row get released before their actual death.
