Respect is to show consideration for someone or something. Respect is something that everyone should have in their everyday lives. There are many different types of respect. Three examples of what to show respect to are in school, parents, and siblings.

Respect at school is one of the most important rules. Respecting your teachers by raising your hand, sitting up in class, and listening will show them that you are alert and eager to answer questions. You can also respect school property. To respect school property don’t write on or in textbooks or desks. You should also respect your peers. To respect your peers don’t distract them while they are working, treat them the way you want to be treated.

Parents should also be treated with respect. To respect your parents you shouldn’t talk back to them. Also you should do what they tell you to do, remember that they are people too. Respecting your parents is very beneficial. Your parents will respect you more if you respect them.

One of the hardest types of respect is respect for your siblings. You should try to get along with your siblings as much as you can. A way to respect your siblings is to be nice to them. Don’t hit or mock your siblings also, don’t touch or take their belongings because if you do they won’t respect you as much.

Respect is to show consideration for someone or something. The three examples of what to show respect to are school, parents, and siblings. The one thing we need to remember is to respect everyone and everything. As you can see respect plays a very important role in our lives. But always treat people the way you would like to be treated.
