Cosmetologist operates independently out of owner-run salons. Some cosmetologist chooses to rent their own booths within a solon; keeping all of their earnings. Anyone who is looking into pursuing a career in cosmetology must be able to grasp complex concepts related to hair and the body. Most cosmetologists work in a comfortable salon or beauty shop. They spend the majority of the day on their feet, working with their hands and arms on a shoulder or waist level. They receive multiple customers per day, and they must go with what is instructed by the client. They engage in discussions with the client to confirm the appropriateness of what they desire.
