Being a role model to not only them but other girls in my culture is one of my priorities. much as possible and become a respected member in society. I believe that if allowed the opportunity I will give my greatest efforts into trying to maintain this society’s legacy and reputation. Please accept the following essay with my thoughts on the NHS principles: Scholarship, Leadership, Service and Character as my expressed interest and excitement in Romeoville High School’s National Honor Society. Everyone has something to bring to the table, whether it's an idea, a plan, or an ability they have. Everyone also has his or her own thoughts and opinions. Are they good or bad? I’m learning that just depends on the person who hears them. As I learn this lesson, I’m striving to be a…
The content of the recent Ombudsman’s report on care of the elderly in the NHS was, sadly, not a shock to me. All the scenarios described were similar to incidents I had witnessed or could easily imagine happening. But, contrary to what the report says, I do not believe that it is a universal problem with attitude towards the elderly, but that it is all, directly or indirectly, down to staffing. The situation on my own ward is one that is mirrored across the trust, and indeed across the country…
