In today’s society technology has taken over the world. Everyone is on social media constantly and driving while on their phones. Technology has distracted most people from reality and driving accidents, student’s grades, and teachers prove that. Companies and teachers have started looking and studying ways to prevent people from being so distracted by technology.
Texting and driving is happening around everyone all the time. About 1.2 million car crashes in 2013 involved drivers talking on phones, according to the National Safety Council, and at least 341,000 involved text messaging (Daniels).
