Attending college in the United States is almost expected in the current generation. Before a student even graduates high school, they are, for the most part, already looking at colleges and applying for scholarships, financial aid, or student loans. I was not among the majority in my senior class. I took the SAT’s my senior and scored incredibly high. Due to my score, I could have gotten a scholarship to numerous colleges, but I decided to take it easy my senior year, and I never applied.
