The Holocaust: A Narrative Fiction
“Everyone be quiet!” George shouted shooting his gun several more times into the air. “Everyone return to your homes. Nobody here is a Nazi.”
“Maybe you’re the Nazi!” Another voice yelled.
George fired the pistol in the air once again. The few who started to stand up quickly ducked down again. “Nobody here is a Nazi! Everyone return to your homes!”
“I’m not going anywhere until I can feel safe with my family,” an anxious Home Guard soldier yelled.
“Hey George, I have an idea,” John said, beckoning him over. George and Lewis walked together to hear. “What if we make the families separate from the single people, maybe narrow down our suspects?” George nodded in agreement.
“I suppose since you people won’t rest until this Nazi business is put to bed, we will have to figure it out tonight,” murmurs among the crowd ensued, most showing concurrence. “All the families group together and step to the side.”

What remained was a line of around fifty or so. George sighed as he walked to the first one.
“What’s your name son?” He asked a boy who couldn’t be much older than 18.
“Martin, sir.”
George turned to the crowd on the other side, “Does anyone know Martin?”

George patted Martin on the shoulder and gently pushed him in the way of the larger group. He moved to the next one in line, an old man with torn up clothes.
“I’m Jacob,” the man offered.
“Jacob?” George asked the audience once more.
“I know him,” someone yelled. “He’s a beggar who sits in the alley behind my bakery. He’s sat there for years.”
George once again showed another man off the line to cross the widening border. He moved on to the next one and after finding that man above suspicion, the next. He moved down the line going from one to the

Don’t forget that I have three million men, with every key position in the hands of my own people... If Hitler is reasonable I shall settle the matter quietly; if he isn’t I must be prepared to use force - not for my sake but for the sake of our revolution.” “ Hitler had killed many people before, but this is madness. He got his power until he died. He killed many of his SA leaders because he thought they had too much power” (Holocaust Encyclopedia, unknown). By the end of the night he had killed over a hundred people including SA leaders, officers, and Ernst Rohm who was his biggest threat.…

Nazi soldiers were given the best tables at Rick's café just because they were German. Major Heinrich Strasser clearly hints of their intentions for the invasion through his first line in the film: "We [the Germans] have to become accustomed to all climates, from Russia to the Sahara." To forewarn the Nazi’s intention of control over the United States, Strasser explained to Rick that the Germans planned on invading London and New York. Rick replied to the autocratic Strasser that even the Nazis could not handle certain sections of New York. Rick's response reassures Americans that the arrogant Nazis could never defeat the idealism, patriotism and spirit of the democratic United…

“You are summoned for no reason other than that you are a Jew, as if “Jew” were a mass term comparable, say, to “water” or “salt”. Here is a bit of water, we say, and any sample of it will do. All water manifests the same interchangeable water properties. That a Nazi should think this way about Jews is not in the least surprising. Mass terms, mass murders, mass graves: they are all of a piece.” (page…

There are many core beliefs of Hinduism. It has a caste system with Brahmans at the top, which are priests, and then the Kshatriyas, which are warriors and king. Then comes the Vaishyas, which are skilled merchants and officials, and finally the shudars, which are the untouchables. Families pass on castes. Reincarnation is another major belief. It is the journey on the “circle of life”, a series of birth, deaths, and rebirths. Karma also plays a major role in Hindus’ lives. Karma is the law, which states that good brings good and bad brings bad, what goes around comes around. Happens either in the present life or one to come. Having good karma allows the person to…
