The History Of The Beatles
Between 1960 and 1970 the Beatles took over the world. The Beatles were an English rock band, formed in Liverpool in 1960, and one of the most commercially successful acts in the history of popular music. From 1962 the group consisted of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr. In 1957 John Lennon was the leader of a bad called the Quarry Men. He was then introduced to Paul McCartney through a mutual friend and was impressed by his ability to play the guitar. So, he asked Paul to join his band. Shortly after he joined, Paul recommended a school friend to John, but he refused to audition him because he was only 14. But, after a while John let him audition, and that was when George Harrison became a part of the Beatles.
