The healthy vegetarian diet
Vegetarianism is a good idea for anyone, whether young or old, sick or healthy. It is scientifically proven to enhance one’s lifestyle in many different ways such as improve overall health, improve or show one’s spirituality and beliefs, and for ecological and environmental reasons. Human beings do not need to eat meat in order to maintain good health because we can get our food needs from meatless products and substances. A vegetarian diet is much easier and healthier for our bodies because we are not made to be carnivorous with fangs and claws and our digestive system was not made to digest meat. More people have gained interest and adapted to a vegetarian diet to: eat the right foods, stay healthy, live longer, gain more health benefits, and reduce air pollution. The three types of vegetarians are lacto-ovo-vegetarian who eat dairy products and eggs, but do not consume meat. The second style of vegetarian is lacto-vegetarian who eats dairy but no meat or eggs and the third form of vegetarian is vegan who avoids all foods that come from animals.
A vegetarian diet is healthier than a diet containing meat because of its higher content of fiber, folic acid, vitamins C and E, potassium, magnesium, many phytochemicals, antioxidant properties, and a fat content that is more unsaturated. The staples of the vegetarian diet are fruits, vegetables, legumes, grains, seeds and nuts. Vegetarians avoid meat, poultry, game, fish and slaughterhouse by-products such as gelatin and animal fats. Vegetables and fruit can help people avoid cancers and diseases, which contain abundant B12 to support heart and brain memories, iron-tariffed bread, cereal, seeds and nuts contain Vitamin C, D, E to provide energy reduce cancer lesions and improve our immune system to against diseases. Bitter vegetables and potatoes can help refresh our brain and beans can help human body detox which are easy to digest for our digestive system.
