The Healthcare Hashtag Project Analysis
On Twitter, the pound sign “hashtag” turns any word or group of words that follows it into a searchable link. This allows you to organize and track discussion topics with ease. Unfortunately, healthcare is known for its abbreviations and technical jargon making it quite difficult to create a hashtag that the rest of the healthcare community on Twitter will be able to identify. Thomas M. Lee, BS, NHA - @tmlfox, is the Co-founder of Symplur and the Healthcare Hashtag Project. The Healthcare Hashtag Project is an ambitious project that brings the healthcare community closer by breaking the barrier of the common language “hashtag.” Additionally, it is a site designed to help connect healthcare professional by searching and organizing Twitter hashtags
