The Greatest influence in my life. There have been many people that have influenced me into who I am today. These people have affected my character and the moral values that I own. However I do think that the person who deeply influenced me is my father. He always hold a strong willed character, trying to guide and nurture me into a great person for a better tomorrow. My father, the sole breadwinner of family, is fully aware of the family’s well-being. Persevering through his entire life, he overcomes many obstacles with determination to ensure that my family has our needs and wants. Never uttering a single word of exhaustion both at his work place and at home. He influenced me by motivating me to better myself. He also emphasize the importance of education, encouraging me to do my best in all aspects. Especially during times of distress, whether it is due to examinations or difficult times, he stand firm beside me motivating me to try my best. He praise me when I did well, motiving me to want to strive to do my best more, however he also scolds me when did poorly, so I can make improvement. He instills moral values into me daily, either through his actions or words, trying to let me understand the importance of a good character. He always stand firm and strong but he has that kind and caring side that i would always love and because of the things he has done for I look up to him greatly. I am greatly inspired by him to work diligently towards my own goals, even through hardships. I look up to him and I want to make him proud of me. Hence I put in extra effort in my studies and co-curricular programs not only to make him proud of what I have done, but to make myself proud and prove to myself that I can be able to achieve what I though was impossible. Besides my father, there are a lot more people that has influenced me. Whether it is my teachers, who were trying to inculcate a wide exposure of education to me, or my bosses, whom

A person who has had a significant influence on me in my life would have to be my former foster mother, Miss Barbara Pratt. Ms. Pratt was a foster mother to many children before myself and she had had wonderful success with most of them. I had been in an extremely abusive relatives home before I had been placed in Ms. Pratt’s home. When it was discovered that I was in an abusive home I was first placed in a group home in Cincinnati. Social Services worked very hard to find me a home that would help me adjust to a ‘normal’ life as quickly and easily as possible. They found the home my older sister had been placed in, they contacted Ms. Pratt and I was placed in her care.…

I have had multiple influential people in my life, but I'm not going to say my parents or a great teacher, but rather someone closer to my age. Andrew Calton, a good friend and great influence. Andrew helped me “get back on my feet” when I was scared to kayak. I would stay on the lake and not go on rivers because I had no confidence in myself. Late at night he and Jack White, another good friend, came to my cabin at camp and told me there was a spot on a trip and he wanted me to go. I went on the trip and the fact that they wanted me to go boosted my confidence. We went on harder rivers I had never been on and I did not swim, or bail out of by boat once.…

The people that has have influenced me the most are my parents. My parents are always there for me through thick and thin. They have taught me right from wrong and have guided me the right way throughout life. They have influenced me so much. Because of them I am a responsible young adult. I take responsibility for my own actions. They have taught me to care for others. There is a saying they used to always tell me. “Do to others as you would have them to do to you.” This saying is from the bible in chapter Luke 6:31. My parents have also greatly influenced my religious and political views, but I will not go into that. My parents also taught me to treat others equally because everyone has feelings and we are all the same on this inside. I don’t make fun of people or judge them by the way they look or how they act. They have also told me what not to do in life. For example, don’t drink, don’t smoke, don’t do anything illegal. These things can most of time ruin your life. I am so glad they told and taught me about these things at a young age because if they didn’t I might not…
