The Graduate The movie the Graduate was much enjoyed. There was simultaneous intermingling of early adulthood from either end of the spectrum. We learnt about a young college graduate and a married woman about 40 years old. The two-experienced intimacy vs isolation together. Relativistic thinking was also learned from both a male and female perspective in early adult hood. The story begins with a newly graduated Benjamin who was praised by his family and friends for his accomplishments. One night Benjamin expressed his concern with Mrs. Robinson and stated that he wanted something more out of the relationship rather than just a sexual affair. He wanted communication.
