Legalization of Marijuana
According to a US government recent survey, “ Marijuana is the most popular illegal drug in the United States, the survey shows that more than 83000000 people tried marijuana at least once in there life’s.” There are more and more studies about marijuana, and most of the studies show that most of the people tried marijuana first when they were in high school. Nowadays, people define marijuana as a dangerous drug, because they see the bad effects, and don’t see the positive side of it. People argue either should the government legalize marijuana or not, and this is a really controversial issue not only in the US, but also in the hole world. Some people believe that its not fair to judge things without trying it, and I believe if those people will change there mind after knowing more information about this topic. Although many people think that marijuana shouldn’t be legalized, it should be because of the freedom of choice, low health risks, and economic benefits.
People shouldn’t ask if marijuana should be legal or not, it’s the government job to show us why its not, but since the government didn’t explain, we can give strong reasons why they should make it legal. A strong reason will be that, the government does not have the right to enforce people, there always have to be reasons for every rule. Another reason will be that there are much more harmful things that are legal like tobacco and alcohol, even more if marijuana was a serious drug, the government wouldn’t allowed it in pharmacies in the first place. Another big reason is that the government is spending a lot of money to keep marijuana away, if the government just legalize marijuana and take tax for it, the government will benefit from that money. There is a lot of huge reasons that support marijuana legalization, and in my essay I will try to talk about most of them.
