The Giver Pessimism
The novel The Giver is about a boy named Jonas that is selected to be the receiver. He goes through a lot of hard journeys. He has a little “Brother” named Gabriel. Gabriel is on the verge of being released to elsewhere. Jonas' plan is to find elsewhere and save Gabriel from release. The Giver is a pessimistic novel. The Giver is a pessimistic novel because of the scary moments that happen to Jonas making it seem like something bad is going to happen to him. The giver is making the reader feel like something bad going to happen with Gabriel and his release. During the novel, they say things to make it seem he's going to be released soon. Father tells Jonas that Gabriel's physicality is very weak and that he'll be released. Jonas is also told
