The future of Human Resource Management

1.) Introduction
The field of Human Resource is one of the most challenging and dynamic areas for European managers. “Human Resource Management is the function within an organization that focuses on recruitment of, management of, and providing direction for the people who work in the organization. Human Resource Management can also be performed by line managers”. Humane Resource professionals can make the difference between success and failure in an organization, and they affect the lives of the people they work with. Defining Humane Resource requirements is not an easy assignment, given the dynamic rate of change in the workplace. Globalization, changing technologies, diversity and changing workforce composition is challenging managers to utilize their employees more effectively to gain competitive advantage. Given these speeding changes occurring in today's workplace, any Humane Resource professional wishing to make a strategic contribution must look closer to the future and think ahead more than ever before.

2.) Globalization and changing technologies
Globalization is inevitable. It affects everything we do and Humane Resource professionals are not immune. Technology leads to a sincere global marketplace. This will also affect how Humane Resource management departments will conduct their business. Instead of always have to physically meet the staff in person, they can send Emails, video-calling or even SMS text messaging. They are no distance anymore. Globalization will cause distinctive Humane Resource Management challenges to businesses especially those operating across national boundaries as multinational or global enterprises.
