The Female Protagonist In Shakespeare's Romeo And Juliet
The female protagonist is Juliet and the male protagonist is Romeo. Romeo is the son of Montague and Lady Montague. He is a young intelligent, handsome, and sensitive man. Even though he can act immature, his passion make him a likable character. He is in the middle of an argument between his family and the Capulets, but he’s not interested in violence. His only interest is love. Romeo goes above and beyond to prove the seriousness of his feelings towards Juliet. He secretly marries Juliet, the daughter of his father’s worst enemy, he happily takes abuse from Tybalt. He would rather die than live without Juliet. Romeo is also an affectionate and devoted friend to his relative Benvolio, Mercutio, and Friar
