Introductory and Body Paragraph:
Ganja also called Marijuana is the most often used illegal drug in the United States. Legalization of Marijuana means that drug abuse would be treated as a medical one rather than a criminal one. The controversy surrounding the issue of legalizing marijuana is presently a major concern, for the both the citizens and government of the United States. In the United States, it is quite evident that the prohibitions cost on marijuana is economically unfeasible, when compared to the revenue that can be generated by legalizing marijuana. Although only two states have legalized marijuana for recreational use, those being Washington and Colorado, the growing consensus is that there is increasing support and demands for President Obama to legalize marijuana. Legalization of Ganja would result in benefits to the economy through reduced law enforcement costs, spin-off industries and new tax revenue in the United States.
