What side are you on? Nature vs nurture has been an debat for along time. People have been wanting to know which one has a stronger role in a child's growing stages. How you act and who you are has a role in genetics. The way a child's brain is developed and who you grow up to be has the effect from nature. Nature and Nurture both have the effect on a child's personality , but I choose nurtures side. Nature is genetics , and it makes you who you are, and how you act. Look at the Jim twins. They were raised in totally different surroundings. For instance they have the same IQ and personality are similar. They drink and smoke the same brand and beer and the same brand of cigarettes. They share a brother named larry and have both name a son Allen. Here is another example Jack and Oskar. They choose the same jacket and glasses to wear for when they reunited with each other. Feral children, Oxanna and Jennie. Jennie has been abused, ignored, has no social skills, and couldn't talk properly. That happened because that was how she was raised. Oxana was raised by dogs, she walked and barked like a dog, she had a good sense of smell, hearing, and vision. All because of the way she was raised. Did you know that kids are 2 times more likely to misbehave if they have been physically punished, or they have been under poor supervision. One example has been tested on birds, when they put a shy baby bird with the loud family, they have raised that babbie to be loud even though it came from the shy family of birds. So in other words if some were to place a child that came from a very smart family and put them in a not so smart family they will more then likely turn out to be like the family that was not so smart. So kids need love and support from their parents because if they don't then then their brain won't be as healthy , they will become antisocial, and have trouble
