The Economic Issue Of Minimum Wage
For this term paper, I decided to talk about the economic issue of minimum wage. Not only is this a pressing issue in 2016, but also it applies to individuals like myself (and other students or employees that deal with minimum wage). This presses the issue on if the government should raise the federal minimum wage. I am arguing that they should because society and the government needs to consider inflation in the decision and it could arguable go against human rights if the government doesn’t. According to statistics on the 2016 election, 59% of votes (109,373 voter) say that the minimum wage should be raised and adjusted according every year depending on inflation. The other 41% (76,023 voters) voted against. Their argument revolves around
