Journal Exercise 4.2: The Drama Antigone could be like the Movie “Saving Private Ryan”. It is about a soldier, James Francis Ryan, who could be like Antigone since they both had brothers who were killed in action. He was under a captain named John H. Miller, who could be Ismene, worrying over Ryan as Ismene worries over her sister, Antigone. They both try to bring Ryan and Antigone to safety. Haimon could be like Ryan’s mother, trying to bring her son back to safety as Haimon tries to change his father’s mind about Antigone’s death penalty. The Chorus could be like Ryan and Miller’s crew, not entirely agreeing with any side’s situation. This is true because your blood pressure might become higher and you might get a faster heartbeat. Lots of people have had heart attacks from being too stressed, maybe because they were worried something might happen to them and got a little too paranoid to handle it. This can lead to dizziness and fainting. Sometimes the stress could be too much for you to handle that you think nothing in this world matters anymore, and might end up doing something that will make others sad and cry.
It could also lead to death sometimes. Maybe that heart attack was too much for someone to handle, and they couldn’t recover from it. Someone might even commit suicide because they might think nothing can help them anymore and that they were a lost cause. It’s happened before, and I don’t think it will stop anytime soon. The stress could sometimes even turn people against one another. It might make the person think “If he/she wasn’t here, everything would be better”, and they might do some things they’re going to
