Robin’s mission is to successfully revolt against the Sheriff and his administration. This mission created the following issues: Robin Hood’s band size exceeds the food capacity of the forest, the Sheriff and his administration are rivals of Robin Hood, and King Richard needs to be restored to the throne. In order to rid of these problems, it is necessary that Robin Hood successfully takes over the Sheriff and his administration and to restore King Richard to the throne while maintaining popularity amongst his band and restoring his future amnesty. In order to do this, we will need to collect money from the barons through negotiation by guaranteeing them their future amnesty. This money, if properly allocated, will restore King Richard to his throne, increase the food supply of the forest and leave Robin and his Merrymen with a promised, likeable future. By choosing this action, he is able to…

Robin reflected this particular section of the code when Much had killed one of the king’s deer and Sir Guy was going to kill him for that. Robin claimed that Much was one of his men, which, at the time, he was not, and took the blame for the dead deer instead, though he managed to scare Sir Guy away instead of being killed. This shows Robin defending the weak and helpless because Much surely would have been killed by Sir Guy over the deer if Robin had not stepped in and taken the blame. Later, after having heard the Prince John was going to start raising taxes “for Richard’s ransom,” Robin gathered as many men from the villages as he could to train to fight against John and his men for the people. Robin is defending the weak and helpless here by expanding his forces to keep the court from robbing the poor. Based on these examples, it is clear that Robin Hood and his Merry Men follow the Knightly Code in defending the weak and…

“Robin Hood and Little John walking through the forest, laughing back and forth at the what the other'ne has to say... Oo-De-Lally, Oo-de-lally Golly, what a day.” When many Americans hear the name “Robin Hood,” these lyrics from the Disney animated movie come to mind. Howard Pyle, who wrote The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood, which was published in 1883, did not write those words, but he did write an entertaining, adventurous book for not only children, but also for teens and adults. Robin Hood is a hero to the poor, but an annoyance to the rich. The book begins with Robin Hood and his gang, called the Merry Men, in Sherwood Forrest, where they live. Robin is an outlaw and an enemy of the Sheriff of Nottingham because he has killed the king's…

Before reaching the farm, Robin decided to wait until dawn to return home. He slowly crept upon the unpopulated streets of nightfall. A few aged structures stood beside the maples as if the two were long-time acquaintances, helping the other in its times of trouble and doubt. The dark skies reminded Robin of his family: his little brother Damien, his parents Tom and Martha, and his big sister Barbara. Oh how unappreciatively he treated his family! Robin started to reminisce deeper of his memories back in the day. Tom, the days before his internals were incessantly drowning due to an exorbitant amount whiskey or rum, taught Robin lessons on life. One day, the lesson given to Robin was to load and fire an arrow. Tom’s teaching ability reflected unto Robin’s ability: Robin had almost no aim with the bow, but powered the arrows to an extreme sense. His arrows fired in every which way across the property with such power it would seem as if God Himself carried the arrow. As Robin shot arrows outside, Barbara practiced her horseback riding, deep in her own solitude. One of Tom’s arrows carried by God became miscarried by the Devil. The arrow redirected in the completely opposite direction and sliced the back of Barbara’s mouth and stuck out behind her head, killing her instantly. After this incident, Tom became an angry, drunken father. Martha, on the other hand, never knew of Barbara’s disappearance. She left the farm with few of her belongings and took Damien…
