The Disadvantage of the Smart Phones Good morning to all my friends and the teachers. Today, I would like to speak about the disadvantage of the smart phones. Nowadays, most of Malaysians have smart phones. This gadget has many advantages and disadvantage to us. Talking about disadvantages, there are lot of negative aspects of using mobile phones. Firstly, using cell phones too much will probably be harmful for human's health as it can increase the risk of brain cancer. Lacking of face-to-face communication is also the result of using mobiles. Instead of going out , many people prefer to stay at home and use their cell phones to connect to others. People, especially teenagers, have become too addicted to using these devices. The users become so immersed in text, email, gaming, web search and social networking that they end up not paying attention to other people and the conversations that are taking place around them. Smart phones can easily distract and affect eyes of the students if used for longer period of time for example while playing games. Mobile phones emit special kind of electric waves that can be harmful for the students and it can damage their brain if used for longer period. One of the disadvantages of keeping mobile phones is it stains the brain memory. For example, students do not even remember the mobile number of their parents. Smart phones are very expensive and you will also have to pay for the accessories. You’ll then need to buy a mobile plan, and these plans are more expensive because you’ll need to buy a data package. You’ll also have to pay for some of the apps that you use. In addition, children are spending a lot of their free time on using mobiles with the purpose of chatting or playing games. This is time consuming and affecting on their studies negatively. Lastly, smart phones have many negative effects on us. Although this gadget also has many positive effects such as it can save our time, help us to navigate, and others. I
