Having courage can make you brave and make others believe in you but, having courage won’t make you trustworthy. We are not supposed to question our parents or teachers because of respect, courage and respect are totally different things. Anyone can have courage where it takes a real person to have honour and respect, this trait is hard to come by because of what a person has to go through to show respect.

The power it will have to take you to continue respecting that person after they have disrespected you is enormous. Being the better person is almost never the easiest option.
Something that relates to respect is honour. Sometimes you might not know why you’re doing something but the answer is honour, honour is the real reason you do something or you don’t. It’s who you want to be. It’s who everyone wants to be. When you have honour you will automatically gain respect because of what you do, people will respect you if you have honour without a doubt. Sometimes you have to trust someone, trust that they will have the honour and respect to help you through something.
Honour, respect, trust and courage three of those are the most important traits a human can have. From past experiences I have learned the real meaning of respect. This word is more powerful than one can imagine. With respect comes unselfishness. When people respect others, they are treated equally. My mother and father always told me to be tactful in the way I treated others, so I would also be respected. It has worked in the past and will always hold true in the future. If someone respects another with proper judgment, people feel good inside which gives them a sense of integrity. When I give respect and witness how it makes others feel, I feel like more of a person. I feel proud. Honored.…

When you don’t know what the outcome will be, and you still continue on with what you are doing, you are acting out of courage. Being courageous is going on an adventure, or being daring enough to try something new. Trying new foods takes courage, and so does making new friends. Courage is taking a chance every once in a while. Courage is taking a step forward and not knowing where you might end up. Courage is standing up for what you believe to be right and not caring about the consequences. It is taking a chance by facing opposition knowing you could be persecuted for it. Courage is acting in accordance with what you believe, despite what others say. Courage is having the integrity to stand your ground and keep fighting for what is right, though others run away. When I was a junior in high school, kids used to always pick on this kid names Alex for being special Ed. I had never paid much attention until one day I could actually hear them making fun of him. The worst part to me had been he didn’t even realize they were doing it. I ended up confronting them and the kids were so shocked that they had no idea how to respond. I stood up for this kid that I had never had a conversation with in my life because I felt it was the right thing to do. I didn’t care what would happen in return, I just wanted them to stop bullying the kid. The kids ended up leaving him alone and avoiding me, and I never saw them bully anyone after that. To me, that…
