The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night
In The Curious Incident Of the Dog In The Night-time, the author, Mark Haddon, utilizes logistic progression to convey the thematic message of trusting family is a natural thing but when that trust is broken it is hard to overcome it.
The theme can be seen in the book when Father tells Christopher that he killed Wellington, Christopher becomes scared of Father. In the book, it says, “Father has murdered Wellington. That meant he could murder me, because I couldn't trust him.” (120) When Christopher realizes that Wellington was killed by Father he said that he needed to get out of the house and away from Father because he could be murdered too. This logical thinking is something that shows Christopher could not trust people that lie to him
