When I was 8 years old my family and I went to knotts berry farm. Being a small kid the time, I barely reached the height minimum to board. When I got on, I had to share a seat and lap bar with my dad and we didn't put the seat belt on correctly. When the ride started, I could feel me slide around and my body lift off the seat. The whole ride I ended up hugging the lap bar, that wasn't even pushing on my legs, in hopes that I would not fly off the seat. With this experience my mood transformed from being happy and excited to a terrifying life threatening situation. This shows that transformation obviously creates fear. This can be seen in the following 3 stories as well. “The Raven”, “House Taken Over” and “Where is Here” use mood transformation…

Lenox Avenue is a crucial street in Harlem, which to the extent the geology of New York is North, or uptown. We might inquire as to why Hughes has formed "down on Lenox Avenue" rather than "up on Lenox Avenue." Let's think, then, about the character of the speaker of the ditty. Since Harlem was home basically to African Americans and the parts of New York City south of Harlem (suggested as "downtown") were populated generally by whites, if the speaker were to see Lenox Avenue as "up" from his place of beginning stage, we might expect that he is white. In the midst of the 20s and 30s, creations by African-Americans about dim character and culture increased. This especially profitable time of expansive and awesome dynamic creation is implied…

There are many social housing projects in Canada. The first ever to exist is Regent Park, which was established in the 1950s in Downtown Toronto. Unfortunately, Regent Park was unwell planned. It was a valuable real estate that incorporated the Garden City design concept as well as the concept of Towers in the Park. The social housing community was off the grid, inward facing and with time, Regent Park was deteriorated. The buildings and roads were all in bad condition. Its poor design made it the first known location where crack cocaine was sold in the mid 1980s. The location and design of Regent Park was a perfect area for drug dealers, because it was almost like a “no mans land,” and the police often wouldn’t be able to get through in time. Modernist design, with low density and open ares, is to blame for this. This public housing community became stigmatized; it held a reputation for drugs and crime. However, Regent Park does have some good benefits: it has a highly diverse population and a large young population.…

These pictures I took on Argyle Street, on Monday November 9th. It was a lovely day to go out and interview people for the speech project. I had an amazing day with my group. First, when we arrived to the street we went to a restaurant to have something to eat. At the restaurant we had a soup that was very delusions. After we ate, we went to interview people. I like that street. There are many cafes, restaurants on that street. On this street it was hard to find people for the interview, everyone was late for work or they hadn’t had time. I had an idea to find a park, because people in the park people always have time to talk. And we went to a park that was on this street. It was dog part, everyone there had a dog, and we interviewed 4 people…
