The Cause Of Terrorism: The Black Lives Matter Movement
There is a war going on right now striking our home, right here in the United States. The war is being waged against our all American police officers. This vicious attacker is the Black Lives Matter movement. This group has more than proven to be against white police specifically. The Black Lives Matter movement caused the events that made the Dallas shooting happen. This was the shooting of police in Dallas, TX that slaughtered mutable officers. After a day of being scrutinized and made out to be a villain against all African Americans in a BLM protest that turned violent. Plus not to mention all of the scrutiny BLM has put Officer Darin Wilson through. The BLM movement is strongly correlated with both the brutal murders of innocent officers and the acts of hate and violence against law …show more content…
Any organization that doesn't speak out against murders on their behalf is a hate group. These retaliation murders are acts of hate against law enforcement and whites. When you are both and especially a male you have problems. YouTuber Chicago Code Blue, has been a voice on the matter of BLM terrorism. He is procop and antiterrorism. His videos have shown the brutality of the BLM and all the mayhem that they terror they have caused with their war on police. His videos peal back the lid, and they let the BLM lies and hatred of police spill out (Chicago Code Blue). Plus behalf of the BLM, there have been angry provocative tweets and hate chants such as a chant that originated in Chicago that goes like ‘Pigs in a blanket, fry them like bacon.’ Or perhaps Whoda Thunk's tweet ‘F*** yes! After all of these shootings, it's nice to see someone taking action against the F****** pigs! #Dallas' (Whoda Thunk).     On the 24th of November 2015, unarmed 24 year old Jamar Clark was fatally shot in the head by a police officer after an alleged altercation between Clark and two police officers in the North Side of Minneapolis, a predominately black neighborhood. Soon after, protests spearheaded by the Black Lives Matter movement started at the 4th precinct of Minneapolis-- the police station just blocks away from where Jamar Clark was shot. Days of occupation of the precinct and peaceful protest led to increased presence of police in riot gear , openly brandishing tear gas guns. Despite the peaceful nature of the protest, police officers in tactical gear sprayed chemical irritants into the eyes of protesters, used intimidation as a form of crowd control, and even punched a young woman in the face.     An example of one of these movements is the Black Lives Matter Movement (BLM). The movement began when an African American man was shot by a policeman. Other African Americans gathered to protest police brutality against blacks “peacefully.” Some people will tell you that you are allowed to support the BLM movement along with supporting the lives of the police. However, other sources say otherwise. You are not capable of supporting the Black Lives Matter and the Blue Lives Matter movements at the same time (Riddell). “This month, Republican Texas Sen. John Cornyn and other Republican senators introduced the Back the Blue Act, which would increase penalties against violent criminals who deliberately target police” (Riddell). “Shooting deaths of law-enforcement have spiked 78 percent in the first half of this year, including a 300 percent increase in ambush-style killings. And Friday, an officer was fatally shot and another was injured in San Diego as they tried to make a routine stop” (Riddell). These violent crimes are suspected to be related with Black Lives Matter. At the same time, the people who support Black Lives matter have not been able to forgive the police brutality of the past and can’t stop thinking of the large amounts of tear gas in the streets, black men getting more jail time, and in general just more police brutality toward their race. Over ⅓ of minors arrested for homicide were black(FBI) and over ½ of violent crime arrests were black(FBI). This is such a drastic statistic because minorities don’t even equivalate to half the population when you add up everyone not white.
