The Cause Of Deaths In Shakespeare's Romeo And Juliet
Romeo and Juliet may have killed themselves, but who really was the cause of their deaths? The cause of their deaths had to be caused by a deep depression which would have come from somebody. I think Romeo is responsible for his and Juliet’s death because he is impetuous, impatient and to in love with the idea of love. Romeo is the main cause for their deaths, because he is so impetuous he doesn’t think before he acts. If he would just take a deep breath and think about his actions he could’ve changed a lot of things. For one maybe he could’ve calmly went to his parents and talked about it with them. He needs to just calm down and think before he does. If he would calm down he would have solved his problems better and he could have made

Some may believe that fate and destiny was the cause of Romeo and Juliet’s death. Others may argue that the cause of their deaths were from the actions of the characters in the book. You can even make an argue for both sides and be able to give specific examples for each. Ultimately, I think that Friar John is the one to blame for their deaths. His boss sent him on an important mission to deliver the plan to Romeo and he was playing at some sick guy’s house. Then he failed to ask the people who quarantined him to notify Friar Lawrence of the mishap. So really the blame goes to him and it is not fate nor destiny.…

Shakespeare once wrote in The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet “The dashing rocks thy seasick weary bark!/Here’s to my love! [drinks] O true apothecary!/Thy drugs are quick. Thus with a kiss I die” (V.III. 118-120). Directly after saying this, Romeo takes a poison and dies in hopes that he will spend the rest of eternity with the one he loves--Juliet. Both Romeo and Juliet commit suicide because Romeo thinks Juliet had died so he takes his life for her, then when Juliet wakes up she takes her own life because Romeo has died. How our two star-crossed lovers died was never in question, but who is most to blame for their deaths, is. Many say that there are other people in the play that are to blame for their deaths. Juliet faked her death using a plan given to her, that is why it is Friar Laurence’s fault that Romeo and Juliet both killed themselves, and he is the one to blame.…

I believe the people in Romeo and Juliet’s lives helped cause their death. One person who helps cause their death was Tybalt. I think he helped cause their death because if he would have stopped trying to fight Romeo, then Romeo wouldn’t have killed him. If Romeo wouldn’t of killed him, then Juliet’s parents wouldn’t of rushed her into marrying Paris, then she wouldn’t of came to Romeo’s father talking about killing herself. Friar Laurence also helped with their deaths because he is the one who gave Juliet the sleeping potion, which made Romeo think he was dead. These are the people I think helped cause Romeo and Juliet’s…

In terms of history and circumstance we must remember that marriages were arranged back in the sixteenth century. This is a really important point to consider because the lovers rebel against their custom. In my opinion this is a major cause of their deaths.…
