The Cause Of Death In Shakespeare's Romeo And Juliet
Verona, ITALY– On Wednesday dawn, Juliet, the daughter of the wealthy Lord and Lady Capulet, was found dead in her chamber adorned in her wedding gown.
The lifeless body was discovered just moments before the wedding by Juliet's nurse when she went to rouse the young bride. The elderly nurse was reported shouting, “Help, help! My lady's dead!” and creating a ruckus in Capulet's house early in the morning. The devastated parents of the bride and the heart-broken groom soon arrived at the scene to witness the pale corpse. Although Juliet's abrupt death was not discovered until early Wednesday morning, the estimated time of death is late Tuesday evening, the night before her grand wedding day.
Currently, the cause of death is not yet confirmed

Lady Capulet calls to her daughter. Juliet wonders why her mother would come to speak to her so early in the morning. Unaware that her daughter is married to Romeo, Lady Capulet enters the room and mistakes Juliet’s tears as continued grief for Tybalt. Lady Capulet tells Juliet of her deep desire to see “the villain Romeo” dead (3.5.80). In a complicated bit of punning every bit as impressive as the sexual punning of Mercutio and Romeo, Juliet leads her mother to believe that she also wishes Romeo’s death, when in fact she is firmly stating her love for him. Lady Capulet tells Juliet about Capulet’s plan for her to marry Paris on Thursday, explaining that he wishes to make her happy. Juliet is appalled. She rejects the match, saying “I will not marry yet; and when I do, I swear / It shall be…

Romeo and Juliet are husband and wife. I married them in secret, and that same day was Tybalt killed and Romeo banished. Juliet pined for her bridegroom and not for Tybalt. You (Capulet) while trying to make her happier promised her to Paris and would have ordered her to marry him. Then she came to me asking that I devise a plan to prevent her second marriage, or she would have killed herself right there in my cell. So I gave her a sleeping potion, which was intended to make her appear dead. Meanwhile, I wrote a letter to Romeo telling him to come here to take Juliet from her borrowed grave when the potion wore off. But Friar John, who was sent to deliver the message, was detained and brought the letter back to me. So I came alone at the time when Juliet was to wake up to take her from the vault and hide her in my cell until I could send another message to Romeo. When I got here, just a few minutes before Juliet should awaken, I found both Paris and Romeo dead. Juliet woke up, and I tried to get her to leave. I heard some noise and was scared away, but Juliet would not come with me. It seems that she stabbed herself. This is the whole story, and Juliet's Nurse also knew of the marriage. If this is all my fault let me be sacrificed to the full extent of the…

There was one complication, Juliet wasn’t truly dead. The messenger that was sent to inform Romeo of this never came to give him the news that Juliet took a potion that would put her in a sleep like death and would wake up after forty-two hours of drinking it. In my opinion, the blame goes to the characters that supported and didn’t support Romeo and Juliet. Especially, Lord Capulet, Lady Capulet, Friar Lawrence, Nurse and fate. Juliet’s parents have an important role for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. As the mother of Juliet, Lady Capulet is meant to comfort Juliet. Instead of doing that, she abandons Juliet in the middle of suffering. Lord Capulet acted harsh when Juliet expressed her opinion over Paris. Both of Juliet’s parents deserted her in a challenging situation. Friar Lawrence tried to bring an end to the grudge between the two families by helping Romeo and Juliet get married. His advice to Juliet to deceive her parents and the solution he provided…

Who is to blame for the deaths of these two young adults? Romeo and Juliet is a tragedy written by William Shakespeare ending with the deaths of two star-crossed lovers. Many events occur that lead to their deaths. Also, many characters have performed specific actions that push these two lovers closer towards their death. In my opinion I believe the Friar is most to blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. The Friar agrees to marry the two, he helps Juliet plan a fake death, and lastly Friar never informed Romeo.{{As the last sentence of your introduction, you need to address the prompt directly. I believe the people in Romeo and Juliet’s lives helped cause their death. One person who helps cause their death was Tybalt. I think he helped cause their death because if he would have stopped trying to fight Romeo, then Romeo wouldn’t have killed him. If Romeo wouldn’t of killed him, then Juliet’s parents wouldn’t of rushed her into marrying Paris, then she wouldn’t of came to Romeo’s father talking about killing herself. Friar Laurence also helped with their deaths because he is the one who gave Juliet the sleeping potion, which made Romeo think he was dead. These are the people I think helped cause Romeo and Juliet’s…

But since the letter never made it to Romeo because the friar was suspected “sick” he couldn’t come into Verona, therefor he couldn’t get the letter to Romeo. I think the nurse went and told the guards that the friar was sick because she had made it clear she didn’t want Juliet to be with Romeo any more instead she wanted Juliet to be with Paris, only because Romeo fought tybalt and Romeo won, tybalt then died after being stabbed with Romeos sword. So the nurse could have set it all up knowing Juliet wasn’t really dead she was only asleep hoping Romeo thought she was dead just like every one else, hoping Romeo would kill himself to be with Juliet, which in fact he did just before Juliet awoke looking for him in the dark family…
