(Tony approaches Dale Kerrigan about his mothers’ passing out in front of Tony’s house).

Tony - Yeah mate, last Thursday me mum passed away. I drove up to the hospital in ‘old betsie’ for me usual afternoon visit after a cracker of a day at work, only to find out the angels had taken her. Those nurse ladies told me it was just her time, but I don’t understand aye, she was such a trooper through the whole thing from diagnosis, right throughout chemo, the lot.

Cancer is the devil I swear, taking someone’s life without even asking, it’s just not fair. I knew it was coming, but still, it darn nearly rips your heart out loosing someone so special, especially me mum.

We were doing great keeping up with the payments on the house too, mum’s jam drop business down at the Sunday markets really did make a difference. She was making up to fifty bucks a week, well on a good week anyways, now it’s just me working and I don’t know if the boss will give me a pay rise.

Losing the house is just not an option, she loved that old pile of bricks. She was always working on those flower gardens out the front, I said it would have been a good idea to sell those beauties at the Sunday markets too. All her friends told her they smelt real nice, one of them even said they were good enough for the mayor’s desk, but why anyone would waste good flowers on that drongo is beyond me. Anyway, mum was as proud as punch the day she heard that.

She was a good doer. She was always helping out other folks, she even helped trouble maker Jimmy from over the back. His washing machine packed it in so mum did his laundry for a whole week. Half the time he wouldn’t even hang it out himself, expected her to do the lot. That’s just how mum was though you know, never complained or questioned anyone, just a real lovely lady.

You reckon I should start lookin’ for a new job, one that’ll keep me afloat? Maybe I’ll try seein’ if they got a spot for me in the council. Yeah that’s what I’ll do, get paid the big bucks for standin’ around all day. It’ll be great! I’ll learn how to lean on a shovel and turn one of them stop-go signs. I’ll catch up with old Jack from down the road at the funeral. He’s sure to put in a good word for me.

Speaking of the funeral, i’d better hit the frog and toad, Alice is expecting me down at the pub to talk about the catering for the wake. I’m thinkin some sangers and one of her famous fruit platters will do the trick wadda you reckon aye mate. Anyways I’ll see ya round.

Kindly place the white board in front of the pantry's door, I don't wanna see the pantry because it gives me heartache knowing that I won't see him anymore, doing something nasty on the toilet room. Or maybe transfer the production department anywhere away from the office. Everything about this place reminds me of him. But I can't resign for the reason that, I still have friends, whom I really love that working here. And it's hard to move on, especially seeing someone talking about him. I'm tired and I need to get rid of everything that reminds me of him. I just thought we are meant to be with. But everything falls down, when I heard the news. You just don't know how hurtful it is. It's hard to give up someone especially if he's so special…

    Simon Krell Monologue

Blood is a fascinating hue. It’s sometimes crimson, scarlet, ruby red, or even bold red. Crimson is the stain that’s painted on my fingers, since I just accomplished a mission-to murder Simon Krell, who continued torturing his family members on a daily basis. Although he continued being a dangerous man, it was so simple to kill him that it occurred to be laughable, all the acting skills I needed was to pretend to act alike his maid and suddenly shoot the filthy person. As I laughed, my storm eyes gazed at the glowing sky that had waves of gleaming dots on it. A silver ellipse remained framed in the inky sky, supported with millions of winking balls of fire.…

    Lady Capulet Monologue

Lady Capulet tries to convince her daughter, Juliet, to marry Paris by telling her how beautiful he is, how he has many good qualities, and how he needs a wife. Lady Capulet uses a metaphor to describe Paris to convince her daughter to marry him, comparing Paris to a book of love that is missing a cover. After Lady Capulet encourages her daughter, Juliet, to see Paris’s beauty by telling her to examine his features, she expresses, “Find written in the margent of his eyes. This precious book of love, this unbound lover, To beautify him only lacks a cover.” This quote demonstrates how Lady Capulet uses a metaphor, comparing Paris to an interesting book of love without a cover, to convince her daughter to examine him at the feast that her…

RIP Chloe Henry. I didn't really know her that much. We used to go to school together and even though we were both really young I remember your kindnes. All I hear people say about you is how much you cared about everyone and how nice and sweet you were. It's not fair to anyone to have to go through what happened to you. And it's not fair for any parents to have their child pass away. It's not fair how young you were and how many things you never had a chance to do. When I found out about this it made me feel absolutely terrible and I still do whenever I think about this injustice. We all love you and pray for you. You did nothing to deserve this. It makes me so fucking pissed off this happened I don’t understand how this coud be done. We all…

When I was younger I had a very vibrant dream in the back of my mind. My family has never been the rich family, and I have never gotten everything I wanted. I had this dream, that I would be the one to save my family from poverty. I’d get famous, have tons of money, and bring my family to live in my mansion. Most of my time was spent thinking about that single dream that I had for years.…

My wife passed away six months ago, on June 28, 2011, after she had struggled with cancer for 17 months. For 17 months, we went through cycles of promises of hope for her recovery, followed by announcements that another tumor had been found and they would try a different chemotherapy. Then hope! Then another tumor, a different type of treatment, more surgery, a different hospital, and different promises. Over and over. Yet none of those promises came true.…

These two job scenarios were a rude awakening and I realized that we should not always get to comfortable at a job or jump so quickly into a new one. Shortly after being jobless for the second time around in the same year I had low spirits, nothing going for myself, I just simply didn’t want to do anything. I lost myself. One day I met up with one of close friends and wow did she ever lecture me, but the words that gave me comfort were “Everything will turn out all right”. These small, simple words turn things around for me. I’ve always heard people say it but never put too much thought into…
