The Carnival In 1872
The carnival has many changes. Some of them are that the carnival in 1872 used to wear huge paper-mache masks. They walk in old man’s gait. In 1870 People would dress like kings, queens, witches, peasants, and dancers. They would also perform according to the costumes they were wearing. Some others are that during the carnival a spray of highly inflammable cologne water that would give you a sort of buzz. Enough to make some people pass out.
The carnival has some traditions that stuck around. For example this carnival has ran from friday night to noon of the following wednesday. Also the carnival has been in the streets and using cars. Carnival balls are extravagant events where people would wear masks and party until morning. This was stuck
