The Cabuliwallah: The Caste System In Hinduism
The caste system is a system which divides Hindus into rigid hierarchical groups based on their karma and religion. The caste system divides Hindus into four main categories which are, Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Vaishyas and Shudras. The caste system greatly affected India because it decided where people would go, how they would dress, and would practically decide how they would live their lives. The Caste System is considered a closed system of stratification.This means that a person’s social status is chosen based in which caste they were born into. There are even limits on interaction and behaviors with people from another social status.

In the the Cabuliwallah, the Cabuliwallah was from a lower caste. This lead Mini's father to make assumptions
