The Best Thanksgiving: The Best Thanksgiving
“The best Thanksgiving”

Thanksgiving is my second all time favorite time of the year. I love waking up in the morning to the loud, obnoxious sound of leaves crunching, and cars driving. My day starts out by walking down thehnb cozy steps to smell my mom cooking lazy snacks that take forever to cook for the day. For the perfect thanksgiving day of course I have to go outside and enjoy a chilly beautiful fall day, but before I can go inside my mom usually catches me and says “Bailey you are going to freeze to death, get a jacket on.” My most favorite thing to do is get in comfy clothes and watch football with my family, eat lazy snacks, and play with my baby cousin. I love when it becomes darker outside because that means it’s getting closer

When we consolidated around the Thanksgiving dessert table for a slice of delicious Apple pie, we all attempted to grab the dominate slice over the others. Somehow the pie was not as great tasting as we anticipated. The texture as well was off, as if it was a thin rubber. We decided to cut into the pie to examine the base of each pie slice. It appeared that the people who escorted the pie to the house we gathered in, managed to bring a counterfeit cinnamon pie used for display purposes. We had to wait as my grandmother taught my distant cousin who was docile to create an official Apple Pie. The Pie was… burnt. That was my fictional anecdote over at my Thanksgiving collaboration.…

Personally, I’m going to have to say no. The painting does a very horrendous job at depicting the relationship between the Wampanoag Indians and the Pilgrims during the First Thanksgiving. The painting is very simplistic. In other words, it fails to recognize the crucial details of what actually led up to the First Thanksgiving, and what occurred afterward as a result of the Peace treaty between the Pilgrims and the Wampanoag Indians. There’s a lot more to the story of Thanksgiving. The painting only focuses on a very small piece of the whole ordeal and fails to capture the big picture of it all.…

My Thanksgiving break was pretty good. On Thanksgiving, I went to Indiana to my cousins' house. It was a two-hour drive, so it wasn't that long. All of my cousins are older than me- literally, all of my cousins even from I don't know where. The only people younger than me are my siblings so I'm not the youngest of ALL the people. Anyways, we had eaten all of the thanksgiving things you can possibly eat. I loved thanksgiving this year and I can't wait next year.…

Have you ever heard of the first thanksgiving? Well, there was one “how to” story for teachers to be able to teach their students effectively. Written by Chuck Larsen, the story was entitled, “Information for Teachers”. In the story, Larsen explained that the majority of Americans were taught in school – which was not entirely true. An interesting guy Larsen was. His ancestors witnessed the first official Thanksgiving and what emphasizes this is that his ancestors originated from both the pilgrims and the Indians. It's a challenge to know a wide spread of knowledge and having to choose the important information to share.…
