The Benefits of Green Tea
Green tea originates from Asia. The Asians have bee using Green tea for many
different medical reasons for at least 4,000 years. Green tea is a very good beverage and
is suitable for everyone. The reasons for that are, it is healthy, it contains lots of different
medicines that are used for many different health issues, and it has a variety of different
Green tea is very helpful to many different disfunctions such as: cancer, rheumatoid arthritis, high cholesterol levels, cardiovascular disease, infections, and impaired immune functions. Chinese men and women consumed green tea and it lowers the risk of getting esophageal cancer by almost 60 percent. There is research that proves that drinking tea illuminates part of the bad cholesterol that is in the body. Consuming green tea also helps prevent getting cavities because green tea destroys bacteria in the mouth and around the teeth.
Green tea contains many different medicines. It has a lot of catechin polyphenols, but mostly it has epigallocatechin which is very powerful. It inhibits the growth of cancer cells and it kills cancer cells with out harming healthy tissue. Drinking tea prevents the body from getting blood clots and prevents blood clots from turning into a more serious matter called heart attacks and heart stroke. Right now they are connecting the "French Paradox" together with green tea because the drank tea and ate food with more fatty content in it and their rate in heart disease was a lot lower then Americans. There is only one negative side to drinking green tea and that is it contains caffeine; however, it does not have as much as coffee.
