Harry Truman became a president of the United States on April 12th on 1945 upon the death of FDR. Before 1942 United States started to develop their nuclear weapons can make them powerful form other counties. The U.S. spent at least $8.52 trillion in present day terms on nuclear weapons development Between 1940 and 1996, And United States is the only country to have used them in warfare with the twice bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in World War 2. On August 6th 1945 Truman’s decided on public announcement of the dropping of the atomic booms. His comments were directed as much to the political and military leaders in Japan as they were to the American people.
Most Americans accepted the atomic bombings saved too many lives and brought the war to a more timely to end. Truman didn’t have any problem with over one hundred thousand of the enemy being killed. After all, the Japanese attacked America and not the other way around. In later year to many questions creates American’s people that ‘’Truman was saving lives’’? Truman's decision to use the atomic bomb on Japan it was for the purpose of saving lives and ending the war quickly and prevent a disastrous land invasion.
That doesn't make sense that the bomb was a good decision. Now Japan is a leading country in technologically, best industrial, architecting, and in beautiful artwork in over the world. But this Atom bomb's radiation caused many birth defects, which is still a big downside. Babies with no arm, HIVS AIDS, and too many cancers were very common diseases. This bomb killed many important major people in Japan, and also killed many innocent people

I want to thank you for your response and clearly stating your perspective regarding the United States bombing Japan. However, I must respectfully disagree with your argument. I do believe the atomic bomb was necessary to end the war because without the bomb the United States was prepared to invade Japan. Statistically speaking the use of omb actually saved thousands of American and Japanese lives rather than invading Japan. Although there were attempts at peace, Japan showed no signs of agreement towards a peaceful and unconditional surrender. Japan’s reluctance to stop fighting could have left to months more of fighting and thousands of more deaths. The atomic bomb ensured an enormous display that could quickly end the war. As Cuhrchill proclaimed, “the end of the Japanese war no longer depended upon the pouring in of their armies for the final and perhaps protracted slaughter… this nightmare picture [has] vanished… in its place the vision of the end of the whole war in one or two violent shocks” (Doc E). Firstly, the bombs saved more lives than it claimed. To illustrate, many American and Japanese lives would have been lost in the battles to capture Japan. Similar to the battles of Iwo Jima and Okinawa, the Japanese would never surrender until all of their forces were lost, and this would result in a copious amount of death and despair. Truman became president of the United States. Truman ended up being the President that made the decision to use the atomic bombs named Fat Man and Little Boy on Japan. It was not any easy decision. There were several factors which helped Truman determine his use of the bombs. First was the loss of lives if Americans were to invade mainland Japan.
