ABSTRACT THE ANALYSIS OF RECRUITMENT AND TRAINING SYSTEM TO IMPROVE EMPLOYEES’ PRODUCTIVITY AT PT. SENTRAINTI PRIMA KARYAWIRA, MEDAN IN YEAR 2010

Nowadays, while nearly all corperations have access to the same technology, no one can then that it is the human resources who make the real difference in achieving organizational goals. Employees have started to acknowledge the importance of increasing diversity in the labor force. They have begun to question the effectiveness of human resource systems that were largely designed for a more homogenous workforce. PT. Sentrainti Prima Karyawira is one of the companies runs its business line as a contructor in Medan. In this research, the writer conducts an interview and questionnaires distribution in order to gain the necessary information and data about the recruitment and training systems improve employees‟ productivity. The writer will use stratified random sampling as the technique to collect the sample from population. From the data analysis, the writer has found out that the collected data are valid and reliable thus can be used or processed further in this research. Meanwhile, the correlation analysis has showed that there is a strong positive correlation relationship between those variables, which indicates that once recruitment as independent variable, training systems as

independent variable, raises, the employees‟ productivity, as dependent variable, will fall. Moreover, from the computation of the determination coefficient toward those variables, the writer found out that 64, 16% from the value of employees‟ productivity is influenced by the value of recruitment and training systems while the remaining 35, 84% is influenced by other factors.
