A Dreamer’s Take on the American Dream America: the land of the free and the home of the brave. When I set out to define America, I realized that it couldn’t be defined in one small sentence. America is known for obesity, lack of educational content when compared to the international education standards and being hypocritical of being free to all. However, America is so much more than that; that is an incredibly pessimistic perspective that looks past all of the remarkable feats this country has accomplished. America has been a refuge to those seeking freedom, a door to endless opportunities and a protective shelter for all in need. Coming to this country has freed people from so much pain.
