The Alamo started by a mission and was a religious compound the spanish built in the eighteenth century. The Mexicans built a 4-acre wall that devoted religious education. This was the start of the Alamo.
The start of Alamo started on February 23 and then ended on March 6 1836. The chapel of the mission of San Antonio de Valero, founded in 1718 by Franciscans; although the mission was abandoned in 1793. There was a mission called The Alamo or the Religious Compound.
